Our mission

We protect our customers'
operations.

We deliver dependable equipment, expert service and trusted solutions that keep critical systems running safely, efficiently and in compliance.

Our vision

To be the company
our customers trust the most.

It is a simple ambition, and a demanding one. Trust is not won with a brochure — it is won on the days a system fails and someone has to make it work again.

We measure success by trust earned, not just by revenue. We are building a company known for reliability, accountability and excellence — one our customers never have to question.

  • Trust creates relationships
  • Relationships create opportunities
  • People grow
  • The company grows

The Green Marine Story

Three generations,
one standard.

Founded in 1961 by Algot Green as an enterprise engine repair company, Green Marine has grown through three generations of family leadership. Under John Green, the company expanded into marine environmental and regulatory compliance, and today Richard Green is carrying that legacy forward — combining decades of experience with new technology and a vision for the future.

For more than 65 years, Green Marine has been grounded in honesty, hard work, technical expertise, dependable service and long-term customer relationships. Our focus has always been simple: help our customers succeed by solving problems, keeping their vessels compliant, and — most importantly — keeping them operating.

Today, Green Marine supports the marine industry with a 12,000-square-foot warehouse, extensive parts and inventory, experienced technical support and hands-on field service. We have supplied more than 5,000 pieces of marine equipment and continue to provide the parts, service, expertise and support needed to keep that equipment working for our customers.

Three generations have shaped Green Marine, but the principle behind the company has remained the same: take care of the customer, stand behind what we sell, and be there when they need us.

Who we are

A distributor with
technicians attached.

Green Marine sells marine equipment, sources parts and sends technicians aboard — all out of one operation in Metairie, Louisiana. The person quoting the job has usually worked on the equipment.

Equipment and parts come out of the same team that provides commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, calibration and inspection. That combination is why customers tend to call us before the system fails rather than after.

Behind the operation is a 12,000-square-foot warehouse carrying inventory for the systems we support, plus more than 5,000 pieces of marine equipment supplied to Gulf and offshore fleets over the last six decades.

The Green Way

Protect operations.
Earn trust.
Own the outcome.

Five commitments sit behind those three sentences. They are what our customers should expect from us on every quote, every parts order and every service call.

  • We protect operations

Every role here exists to help our customers succeed. The work keeps critical systems running and our customers moving.

  • We earn trust

Trust is never demanded. It is earned — through responsiveness, honesty, preparation, expertise and follow-through.

  • We own the outcome

We don't pass problems. We solve them. Ownership means taking responsibility from start to finish.

  • We pursue excellence

Good enough is not good enough. We continuously improve our systems, processes, knowledge and execution.

  • We care about people

We care about our customers, our teammates and the work we do. Respect, professionalism and integrity guide every interaction.

Our standards

Every day.
Every time.

The commitments above only mean something if they show up in the ordinary work.

Respond quickly

We act with urgency, because downtime is costly.

Communicate clearly

We keep customers and teammates informed — no surprises.

Solve the real problem

We dig deeper, fix it right and prevent repeat issues.

Follow through

We do what we say we will do. We finish what we start.

Earn trust every day

Integrity, expertise and consistency build trust — and trust builds everything.

Safety is non-negotiable

We protect ourselves, our teammates, our customers and the environment.

Who we serve

Vessels that have
to keep working.

The common thread is consequence: when this equipment stops, something expensive stops with it.

Commercial vessels

Working fleets where downtime is measured against a charter, a schedule or a crew aboard.

Offshore operators

Vessels and units operating in the Gulf of Mexico, where a parts run is not a short trip.

Shipyards

Newbuild and refit projects needing equipment supplied, installed and commissioned on programme.

Government customers

Agency and government-operated craft with their own procurement and documentation requirements.

Where we work

The Gulf Coast
is the home range.

Green Marine is organised around Gulf Coast ports and the vessels working out of them. Inventory, technicians and response are built for that region rather than spread thin across the country.

Work outside the Gulf is considered case by case. If we are not the right people for it, we will say so rather than take the job and disappoint you.

the test.
