How we work a parts request

Start with whatever
you actually have.

A complete part number gets the fastest turnaround. But most requests do not start there — they start with a system that has stopped and a nameplate that is half unreadable.

Send what you have. Make, model, serial number, a photo of the nameplate, a photo of the failed component, or just a description of the system and where it sits. We work backwards from there against manufacturer documentation.

  • Part identification from photos and nameplate data
  • Cross-referencing where the original part is superseded
  • OEM parts sourced against the correct build and revision
  • Service kits and consumables grouped into one order
  • Quantity, lead time and pricing confirmed before you commit
  • Shipping to vessel, dock, shipyard or shoreside address

Parts request

Request parts

Complete what you can. Anything you leave blank we will chase down with you — the form is a starting point, not a gate.

Attach photos of the equipment nameplate and the failed component if the part number is unknown.

  • Photos are the fastest route to a correct part number
  • Serial numbers matter — builds change mid-model
  • Tell us the required date if the vessel is waiting

Common questions

Before you send it.

I do not have a part number. Can you still help?

Yes — that is most requests. Send a photo of the equipment nameplate and the component itself. Between the make, model and serial number we can usually work back to the correct part from manufacturer documentation.

The original part is no longer made. What then?

We look for the manufacturer's superseding part first, then a suitable equivalent. Either way we tell you which it is before you order — you should always know whether you are getting the OEM part or an alternative.

Can you ship directly to a vessel or shipyard?

Tell us the delivery point in the request and we will quote to it. Shipping arrangements and lead times are confirmed with the quote.

How quickly will I hear back?

If the part is only half the problem, a technician can be scheduled to fit it and verify the system afterwards.
